Love and War
Probably the world's first animated opera, Love and War traces the tale of two lovers, Bunny and Bear, who meet by happenstance. At the height of their romance, Bear is called to serve in an international conflict against an army of aggressing reptilians. Written, directed, animated and composed by Fredrik Emilson, Love and War won Best Animated Short at the 2007 Los Angeles Film Festival where Emilson was crowned "the Orson Welles of stop-motion opera cinema with puppets." I thought the plot was very real and easy to understand. It show that love is above all and that nothing good ever come out of war but from love itself. Be more loving and less hatefull cause you never know what the out come my be.
