| Rex Richards (plays the head of the tribe) stayed with my family in North Miami while he was filming this movie. He told us the sun would not come out for a certain scene and they waited all day. Finally, it came out for a moment and he had only one line: If you have hunger, stranger, eat! In his one sunlit chance, he said: If you have hunger, strunger, eat! The shot was ruined and they had to wait the next day to shoot the scene again. I was 13 yrs old when this was filmed and fancied Rex as my "boyfriend", but, I never got to see the movie... until 50 years later (and today's technology). I could not believe it when I saw the title here, so I finally got to watch where Rex says- If you have hunger, stranger, eat! All these people would be in their 70's now and I wonder if Rex is still around today. It was a thrill finding this movie and seeing him again and finally getting to see the fruits of the story he told us about many years ago. |

| This movie was made the year I was born, and I think it confirms Spengler's Decline of the West more than any scholarly analysis of human history. I say this all in jest, of course. Movies this bad are always good mind candy when you feel that most of the planet is going to hell in a handbasket. |
